Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Five Minute Ads (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. Your email address and a securely hashed password when you create an account.
- Meta connection data. When you connect your Meta (Facebook) account, we access — with your authorization — your ad account and Facebook Page details, and store an encrypted access token so we can create and manage ads on your behalf.
- Campaign & performance data. The ad content, budgets, audiences, and creatives you submit, and the delivery and spend metrics we sync from Meta for your launches.
- Payment information. Wallet top-ups are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number — Stripe handles card data directly. We retain a Stripe customer identifier and transaction records.
- Usage & technical data. Basic log data such as IP address, browser type, and pages accessed, used to operate and secure the Service.
2. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- To create, launch, and manage ads on your connected Meta ad account.
- To process wallet top-ups, apply our platform fee, and meter ad spend.
- To sync and display campaign performance and generate statements.
- To communicate with you about your account, launches, and billing.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Third-party platforms
The Service integrates with Meta’s advertising platform. Your use of Meta ad accounts and Pages is also governed by Meta’s own terms and privacy policies. We access Meta data only as needed to provide the Service and in accordance with the permissions you grant during connection. You can revoke our access at any time from your Meta account settings.
4. Payment processing
Payments are handled by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. Their handling of your payment information is governed by Stripe’s privacy policy. We receive confirmation and metadata about transactions but never your full card details.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers (such as Meta, Stripe, and our hosting/infrastructure providers) as needed to run the Service.
- For legal reasons, if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this Policy.
6. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data as described below.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption of access tokens at rest and encrypted connections in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. You can also revoke our access to your Meta account at any time from your Facebook settings. For step-by-step instructions on removing the connection and requesting deletion of your data, see our Data Deletion Instructions.
9. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the OAuth connection flow. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
10. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
