Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: July 19, 2026
Five Minute Ads lets you connect your Meta (Facebook) account to create and manage ads. This page explains how to remove that connection and how to have your data — including any data we obtained from Meta — deleted.
1. Disconnect Five Minute Ads from your Facebook account
You can revoke Five Minute Ads's access to your Meta account at any time from Facebook itself:
- Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and websites (or Business integrations), find Five Minute Ads, and click Remove.
- This immediately invalidates the access token we hold, and we can no longer access your ad accounts, Pages, or any other Meta data.
2. Request deletion of your data
To have your account and all associated data deleted from our systems — including your stored (encrypted) Meta access token, connected ad account and Page identifiers, and campaign data synced from Meta — email us at support@fiveminuteads.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line “Data deletion request”.
We will confirm your request, delete your account and associated personal data within 30 days, and send you a confirmation when the deletion is complete. We may retain limited records where required by law (for example, billing and transaction records for tax and accounting purposes); these are kept only as long as legally necessary.
3. What gets deleted
- Your account (email address and credentials).
- Your stored Meta access token and connection details.
- Ad account and Facebook Page identifiers we synced from Meta.
- Campaign drafts, creatives, and performance data stored in our systems.
Note that ads, campaigns, and spend history that exist in your own Meta ad account live on Meta's platform and are not deleted by us — they remain under your control in Meta Ads Manager.
